Passion, not pensions

I have been working in the ever-changing advertising industry for more than 25 years. Focusing more and more on brand experience and brand strategy I joined one of the greatest brands in the world in 2017: RedBull. Here at Red Bull I have contributed to building its premium fashion brand AlphaTauri, now I am part of the Corporate Projects division.

I’m creatively involved into digital branding, social media analytics, affiliate marketing, content creation and community management.

 

I have worked for more than 75 national and international brands and services as Apple, Austria Tourism, Austrian Ministry of Finance, Dove, Generali, Henkel, Kraft, IBM, McDonald’s, Milka, Nestlé, Pattex, Persil, Red Bull, T-Mobile, Toblerone, Unilever and the City of Vienna.

I have worked in Hamburg and Vienna as an Art Director, Creative Director, Head of Art and Managing Director Creative for national and international agencies as KNSK BBDO, Lowe GGK, Ogilvy, Demner Merlicek & Bergmann, DDB and Zum goldenen Hirschen.

 

In January 2017 I was asked to become Executive Creative Director at Red Bull‘s inhouse creative agency in Salzburg, Austria. There I met the acclaimed artist and illustrator Robert Rottensteiner. As the agency was closed just a few weeks later, I continued to work for Red Bull with Robert and four former colleagues as Team Rottensteiner Red Bull. From February 2018 on I directly worked for Red Bull’s premium fashion brand AlphaTauri as a Creative Brand Strategist.

 

With December 2024 I have moved to the Red Bull Corporate Projects division as a Senior Creative Manager CP (a.k.a. Creative Director) and report to the Global Head of Motorsports CP.

I have won more than 180 national and international prizes, including three Cannes Lions and a platinum Effie. I have attended the Hyper Island Digital Masterclass in 2012 and the Berlin School of Creative Leadership Seminar for Rising Stars in 2016. I give lectures and teach communication since 2012.

I’m a long-time member of the Creativ Club Austria CCA, member of the German Art Directors Club ADC and member of the Art Directors Club of Europe ADC*E.
